The company
started in 1992 as ROC-MESE in Shanghai as a foreign sole-source
investment enterprise. The company is situated in the Shanghai
Cao He Jing emerging technology development zone, which
consists of 3,000 square meters of office space and a first-class
manufacturing base. The area is now expanding with construction
being planned for additional tens of thousands of square
meters.
The
company is composed of several hundred specialized technical
personnel and managers, who are constantly innovating ideas
without limits in leading the industry in the development
of high quality mechanical and electrical products for the
needs of China and the international market.
In
1993, the first batch of Woodpecker® branded CNC engraving
machines was released which helped open the Chinese sign
making and mould industry. The machines were highly popular
and attracted interest from multiple industries. The company
started producing more specialized machines to meet various
demands. The company continues to grow at a rapid rate with
new machines being developed yearly to meet the needs of
the market.
ROC-MESE

ROC-MESE strives to produce high quality products. Currently,
we have 4 main lines of machines, consisting of 46 different
models which apply to industries such as sign making, souvenir
making, moulds, miniature construction models, shoe makers,
leather, printing industry and numerous other specialized
professions.
The
ME II series of three-dimensional CNC engraving machine
obtained enormous praise from numerous customer and expert's.
In February 2003, ME II was evaluated by the Shanghai high-tech
achievement transformation project. Woodpecker® is currently
used in over 30 provinces, cities, autonomous regions in
China, including Hong Kong and Macao. It is sold in the
following countries, USA, Australia, Japan, Russia, Burma,
Vietnam, Thailand, Bangladesh, Middle East, and has been
well received in these international markets. In order to
better serve the local customers, ROC-MESE (Shanghai), the
limited company has set up numerous offices throughout China
and entrusts the local business agents to sell and support
the product in their area. The company by its unique specialized
image and professional management skills provides post-sale
service as well as pre-sale consultation. ROC-MESE will
install and provide specialized training for its customers.
